your verbosity is positively charming, darling.

Hello, my name is Karen. I have trouble remembering things and feelings, so I take photographs to try and help me not to forget. Sometimes, when I feel particularly brave, some of them end up here. I hope you'll like them. (if you don't, that's okay.)
All pictures on this blog were taken by me, unless specified otherwise.

Hmmm ok I thought the theme you picked/answered was THE theme and everyone could play with THIS idea… ^^

Oh! Oh, right, hadn’t thought of it like that. Eligy and I started this amongst the two of us, we never advertised and I never thought someone else would want to join in. But if there are themes that catch your interest, feel free to use them! More variations and interpretations can only be a good thing! :D

How can I play ? :D

Find a friend, pick themes in turn, and shoot! :D It’s really fun, challenging at times, and always pushes you to find new ways to interpret ideas that could seem simple at first!

Photography Battle #03
 Theme: Faceless self-portrait + dyptych
I love the idea of a self-portrait that doesn’t feature the face, because it forces you to find a way to show yourself through something else than the obvious, allows you to put forward a different aspect of your personality, depending on what part of you decide to show, and how. The dyptych part was both because I like dyptych and because eligy hadn’t had the chance to try her hand at it yet, so this could be a good opportunity to start :p

Photography Battle #02
Theme: Art. Find art around you, make art, any kind of art.
This is pretty straightforward. When eligy came up with a theme involving art in whichever form, I saw this in my head. Standing in a field throwing the same brush in the air over and over again is a sure way to be stared at by pretty much everyone who happens to drive and/or walk by, but I’m starting to get used to it, it’s all good.
