back from a 5 days roadtrip through Quercy (a region of France), where we saw a lot of churches, houses made out of yellow rocks, flowers, and cats. (this, here, was actually a small garden in front of a church, which sums up the whole thing quite well.)
they also have cats. quite a few of them i must add. and this one decided it was his mission to walk with me in case i got lost (and to loudly demand petting every time we stopped.)
it’s amazing how cats, whatever their sizes, always know how to find the perfect patch of sun to nap. (also, zoos are cool and sad at the same time.)
(This is my cat. He is 20 years old. If he were human, he would be 96 years old.
He cannot walk properly anymore, sleeps roughly 22 hours per day and cannot even do that on the couch because he cannot jump on it anymore. He used to climb all over me as soon as I got near him. Now, he comes as close as he can and falls asleep with his head buried against my leg because, sometimes, climbing on my lap is too difficult.
I am 23 years old. He has been with me practically all my life. I do not know what to do.)
